The REnForce Project Has Officially Started! 

RISEBA University of Applied Sciences, as the project coordinator, together with partners from Latvia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Armenia, is pleased to announce the official launch of the project “REnForce: Strengthening work force potential in the renewable-energy sector” 

The first in-person kick-off meeting of the project partners took place on 14–15 January 2025 in Yerevan, Armenia. 

What is REnForce?

This Erasmus+ Capacity Building initiative aims to support the development of Armenia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) system, with a particular focus on the renewable energy sector. 

The main objectives of the project include: 

  • Enhancing the competencies of teaching and administrative staff and equipping them with new knowledge and skills 
  • Adapting educational programmes to industry needs to ensure greater effectiveness and impact 
  • Strengthening cooperation between vocational education institutions and the labour market, promoting the preparation of a qualified workforce 
  • Developing work-based learning opportunities, enabling students to gain practical skills and real-world experience 
  • Establishing an association for solar energy and vocational education institutions, as well as creating a modern training centre 

The project is implemented in close cooperation with international and local partners, fostering the development of a sustainable and skilled workforce and promoting innovation in vocational education and training.
