Four-Day Training Programme on Work-Based Learning and Green Energy Education

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ REnForce project, a four-day internal training programme for the administrative and teaching staff of Gyumri Craftsman School No. 4 was held on 18 and 22 December 2025 and 12 and 16 January 2026.

The training was delivered by staff members who had previously participated in the international mobility visit to Riga, Latvia, and aimed to transfer the knowledge and experience gained to their colleagues. The sessions covered key topics such as work-based learning, career development and planning, diversity in vocational education, funding opportunities and EU grants, as well as renewable energy and green technologies.

Participants were also introduced to European practices in renewable energy education, including solar, wind and biomass technologies, labour market demands in the green energy sector, and the integration of these topics into vocational education programmes. Practical examples and engineering insights from solar power plant development and energy system modelling were presented.

The training sessions were conducted in an interactive format, encouraging discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaborative learning. The programme supported the localization of European experience, strengthened teamwork among staff, and contributed to the modernization of vocational education programmes.

At the end of the training, participants completed evaluation questionnaires and discussed how the newly acquired knowledge could be integrated into the educational process.
